Question:
If you could do one thing over in your life, what would it be? I'll post mine when I think of a really good one.
(1) I would have asked my grandparents more questions about our ancestors.
OK,,,,2 things!
(2) I would have kept my children home for the first 2 years of college.
I would have never picked up a cigarette.
Other than that I have NO thoughts of a do over.
I always say woulda, coulda, shoulda lol... :p
I love my life, every single aspect of it, always have & hopefully always will! :D
You only get one life. well, in some cultures more ...ENJOY IT!

If I could have one do-over........I'd probably really need 2.......
I would not have married my first husband. In fact, I would not have gone out on a date with him. To be brutally honest, I should have run him over with his own ridiculously expensive SUV. I think my life would have been a hell of a lot better if I would have just waited for husband #2.................
If I had one do over.....I would have gone to college straight out of high school.
That's mine too. I would have gone to college right out of high school.
o.k. I thought of one. I would have thrown something at the guy who broke up with me last month.
I guess I would not have taken the back road home on August 9th.
That way in 1980 I would not have got sideswiped by a station wagon going 55 MPH, making my car go 53 feet in mid air before landing.
The gear shift poking a hole in my diaphram
Cloapsed Lung
Broken arteries
Internal bleeding
Died on the operating table
Unconcious for 5 days
coming to and finding out what day it really was, and going back out for another 16 hours.
Oooops I guess that was too long SORRY.
Holy Cow Scott! Really glad you're still here, buddy!
hi scott,
that sounded very scary. im glad you still here
never got that first pack of smokes. darn it
Same here Rich and Karen:
I would have NEVER EVER IN A BILLION YEARS EVER lit that first cigarette.
I consider that the single biggest mistake in my life. Yeah, that includes everything, every jerk ex-boyfriend, every time I disappointed my mom, and every time I did something else really stupid.
I have a theory that most of those "do-over" moments serve to make us who we are. If I had never made some of those mistakes (and there are plenty) I wouldn't have learned from them, and I wouldn't be who I am today. And dammit, I think I'm doing pretty good so far. But the cigarette didn't serve any purpose, I didn't learn any great life changing lesson from it. Only that its a bitch of an expensive habit that I can't get rid of. Arg.
The one thing that seems most obvious would be "I wouldn't have married that *%^# !&!@% )&$^%". But then my son wouldn't exist, so ... ???

going to think on it for a little
I would have spent my mom's "last night" at the hosp. with her so I could have been with her when she passed...we had no way of knowing though.
I would have gone to medical school.
