A bit upset...
Question:

I cant find an email address to send this to... maybe one of you could let me know who to forward it to..
I would just like to say that I am very dissapointed with the psoriasis foundations choice for conference location this year. For the past 3 years, the conference has honestly been the highlight of my summers, and even of my years.. The convention has been a place where i can go and NO ONE judges. Young and old, everyone is friends, and not only are there amazing seminars (a lot of which have changed parts of my life) but there is community spirit.
Where do 16 and 14 year olds like me and Dee fit in, in Las Vegas? Absolutely nowhere. Okay, so we have something to do for a couple hours during the day while the conference goes on, and then everyone dissappears to casinos and to drink, and Dee and i are where? oh yeh, in a hotel room.. doing nothing.
I'm sure that everyone who goes will thoroughly enjoy their time there, i just dont think that las vegas was a good choice to be inviting to EVERYone.
enjoy it anyways guys, i hope you all have a great time and i regret to let you know that i wont be seeing any of you this year.

Vegas is one of my favorite places to go (even before turning 21). Believe it or not there are TONS of kid/Teen friendly things to do-day or night. Many of the hotels offer great FREE shows (ie Bellagio has a light/water fest held like every 15min in the evening). You would be VERY surprised.
There is plenty to be seen in Vegas, I plan to bring my baby (he will be about 3mo.) so if I can find things to do, believe me you can too! ;)
if you want PM me and I can give you more I ideas when I have a mini.

Oh there is more then enough to do, Remeber this Vegas wants as many people as possable to come inculding people who have kids. So there have setup things for you to do, place to see and hang out.
Only places you cant go is clubs and bar's (which your not allowed in anywhere we have the confrence) and the Gambling floor. but the reset of the casino you can run wild through.
I have been going to there since I was a small child you will have plenty to do.

I agree with Kim. I knew right away when I heard where it was that my parents were not going to allow me to go. Especially not my dad. I understand that there are kid friendly places in Las Vegas, but when you look at the hotel that isn't very kid friendly. Plus, I know with me when I was at conference last year I saw my mom in the hotel rooms, training, and if we had planned something. Besides that we went different ways, to different sessions, and I spent my time with KJ{{and others!}} in the hotel. Plus, I would have to GET to the kid friendly places and with my mom busy that would mean me going by myself. Plus, KJ goes by herself. I am looking at the shows at the hotel and they are anywhere from $50-$350 per person, the only one that is free is the flirt lounge..but umm...yeah. I know that you guys all mean well, and Fox is right, we wouldn't be allowed in bars anywhere as minors anyway. I mean I know that if I was 21 I'd be in the bar with everyone and the casinos as well, it's just how it goes. Most people do that. It's nothing against anyone, it's just what happens in vegas. It's part of the territory.
I hope that everyone has a fun time and I know I'll miss everyone there. I hope that next year I will be able to go. It sounds like they are going to have great sessions this year && a lot of great things planned.
