Question:
The weather that's in Texas and Oklahoma belongs in places like Chicago and Denver. This winter storm is ridiculous.
and now to my point...Scott (Snake0118) is in the middle of this crap doing search & rescue for the fire department. he'll be doing this for the next 2-3 weeks. so for those of you that pray....it would be nice if you could pray for him...
Yikes, Cassie! Scott not only lives in Oklahoma but he's also a fireman. (He was also involved in a similar search and rescue mission in New Orleans after Kartrina.) He also happens to be a very nice guy. If you talk to him, please thank him for me and tell him my throughts and prayers are with him.
Mike
Ditto; I remember talking to Scott in the chat room when he was first beginning his new career, and he IS a nice guy. Oklahoma has it BAD. :( Please let him know he's in my prayers!!
Here in North Central Texas, we've had ice since Saturday, and I'm presently watching the snow fall through my windows. It's beautiful, but virtually paralyzes us down here.
(It's also my daughter's 13th birthday and she's DELIRIOUSLY HAPPY that school is closed today!!)
Cassie,
Please send my well-wishes too.
Haven't heard from Scott in a very long time, I was thinking about him the other day.
He's in my good thoughts.
Karen
hi cassie,
my thoughs and prayers are with scott and the rest of the poeple out there with the bad weather. i wish them all the best and be safe
Scott is another example of some of the great "young adults" who post here on this site. I have such respect for those of you who have had to deal with having p and/or pa at such young ages. But I do have to say that learning how to deal with it has left all of you wonderful, compassionate, and caring individuals. I send my best wishes to Scott as well.
Thanks for letting us know, Cassandra! He will be in my prayers!
Let him know we are all greatful for all his hard work and dediciation to the community. Without people like him we couldn't get through these disasters.
Stay Safe Scott!!!!!
