Collect Questions

Maybe ;) I talked to Matt last night (many of you know he's in Iraq right now) and he says they scheduled him to come home in about a week!!!!! :D :D :D :D
Now, bear in mind this IS the military so ANYTHING could happen and he could not be allowed to come home, but as of right now, it's a sure bet, he'll be in my arms in about a week!! :) I don't want to post EXACTLY what day b/c there's all kinds of OPSEC guidelines about stuff like this, but I could not BE more excited!! :)
So please, everyone keep your fingers crossed! I could use 2 weeks of him in this house! I miss him soooooo much! Now, all we need to do is to get this war to end while he's home. ;)
Anyway I just wanted to share this with ya'll because you have been SO super suportive of him and me, and I really appreciate it soooo much!
I'm sick, I can't breathe, I can't smell, and I sound like I have whooping cough :), but I'm the happiest girl in the world right now!!!! :D
So keep the fingers crossed!!!!!! Maybe if we all do it it'll work and he'll be here soon!!!

I'm still gonna attack him when I see him at the airport. :p He's always gotta brace himself,he says, on the homecomings, because I run up so fast to hug him I almost knock him over. :) Ya damn skippy! :cool: Anyway thanks again Rich :)

I will keep my fingers crossed that plans don't change, but I know exactly what you mean, you kind of have to take everything the military tells you about schedules with a grain of salt. :rolleyes: But I would hope they would not take something like that away from either of you because that would be soooo.....unfair. I have waited at airports many, many times and almost couldn't stand it. It seemed like they would never open those doors on the plane. I hope he has a good trip and that you two have a wonderful reunion.

I know how bad I was with my husband, he was based in Germany and I was stuck in the UK, we were only together a few weeks of the year.

Great News!!! couldn't be happier for you an DH......
now for the coughs, sneezes, and runny nose (stuffy)
first off chicken soup....helps you to breathe.....
next get some 1000mg's of vit C and take all day...(they get peed out as fast as you take them) but will keep secondary infections away (at this point)
chewable zinc .....found in GNC, drugstores, health stores....Echinacea/Goldeseal (drugstore Walgreen brand is good, or health store) is nature's antibiotic.
that should get you feeling better by next week!
