For the White Castle Addicts Among Us
Question:

Some of us (they know who they are! :D ;) ) are seriously addicted to White Castle's "murder burgers". I thought that they'd enjoy this article:
Reminds me of being 17 and driving up and down Bergenline Ave. in Union City/North Bergen, Mike! LOL, Michele. Living in Hoboken we used to go both ways! Sometimes we went South to the Square and sometimes we went North to Nugesser's. Good times! Even better memories. :)

Mike Not to hijack this thread, but my wife and I had the pleasure of dining for the first time at a little place called Cheesburger Cheeseburger
My arteries screamed, but a tasty delicious hamburger complete with onion rings and an Irish Creme Milkshake was too much of a temptation. :D
I succumed and I have to say if anyone has the urge for a fresh burger in a 50's atmosphere Cheeseburger Cheeseburger is the place to go. I do not know if I would go more than 1 or 2 times per year, but when the urge for a burger comes over me I have a new favorite place.

White Castle was our hangout.
Back in the day, we nicknamed them "bookmarks".
But we heard the term "sliders" & "belly bombers" too.
How much things have changed, some things still remain the same...
White Castle became my son's hangout with his friends too.
I loved White Castle then... but... I'm a vegetarian now.
Blessings,
Joe

Anyone ever had Whataburger? I went to one in Corpus Christi after hearing that it was the late singer Selena's favorite hamburger place. Man, I was hooked! They are not small, but soooo good - now I see what she loved about them! Blew Burger King away in my book. They are only in the southern states it seems. Fortunately (dietwise that is) I have to drive about 50 miles to reach the closest one to me here in Florida! :) Will be worth the trip tho!

Yessir, Whataburgers abound here in Texas ... as do Sonics. (nanny-nanny-boo-boo, Julio!! :p )
I remember Krystal's from when I lived in FL briefly as a teen. It was okay. Never had a White Castle -- but I LOVED the Harold & Kumar movie!! :D
