Hi Richard,
This should get you started:
http://www.vivalasvegasweddings.com/;
http://www.lasvegastourism.com/las_vegas_weddings.htm;
http://www.lasvegastourism.com/;
Several of us have stayed here the last couple of times that we did Vegas: http://www.lasvegastourism.com/tropicana.htm. (The bad news is that I keep hearing that it's closing.)
According to Mapquest, you live approximately 2,500 miles from Las Vegas. My guess is that it would take you at least a couple of days to drive there. And then at least a couple of days to drive home. (It sounds like you'd need at least a week for the round trip.)
I hope this helps.
Mike
hi mike,
thank you for the links my friend. it helps with some ideas i was having. 2500 is to far to drive. so i guess it's just might be a airplane ride :eek: but i will do it. one way or another :D i will do what i can to get me and polly out there. one way or another. thank you my friend
have a good night all

Rich - Some suggestions if you want an inexpensive last minute trip.... site59 generally has some great package deals. Also, try www.hotwire.com for last minute hotel and car rental deals. If you want to print out info before you go, try www.travelocity.com or www.Frommers.com. You can print out destination guides from these sites.
hi rhonda,
thank you and i will do that

1 Attachment(s) Hi Rich,
I was in LV last week - I go there occasionally for business. I would say that if you stay anywhere on the strip, you'll be fine. MGM Grand, Paris Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay, etc. All of those hotels are almost like cities themselves. You'll have a ball - and maybe even win some $$$$ :D The strip at night is a blast. Don't miss the fountains at Bellagio. Here's a picture I took just walking down the strip.
1 Attachment(s) I took this picture right through the glass of my hotel window - it's of the lights reflected in the windows at Mandalay Bay. I was staying in THE Hotel - that's where I took this picture from.
Suzanne,
Those are beautiful pictures. Makes me want to go NOW!!! LOL! I can't wait!!!

Bellagio, Mandalay Bay (has its own beach!), Venice (can go for gondola rides!), NYNY... the strip has so much to see and its all so over the top, its fun! The Hoover Dam is driving distance too, and the Grand Canyon isn't tooo far if you wanted to take 2 days or so and do a mini trip within a trip! Have fun planning your vacation guys! :)
