Please send some Get Well wishes to Sandy!!!! I saw her tonight and she still isn't feeling well. She has a cold that just won't go away. She has taken antibiotics and everything. So please Sandy- GET WELL SOON!!!
P.S. Even though Sandy wasn't feeling good she still put on a great P Support Meeting tonight- Thanks Sandy :)

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for all your well wishes and thanks to Denise for starting this thread. I seem to have gotten myself quite a cold/flu/virus/ and can't seem to shake it.I spent most of yesterday in and out of bed taking naps, but I think my old body is saying to slow down and ger some rest.
I've been on the antibiotic pack for the 5 day pack, that is suppose to be in my system for 10 days, but I don't see that is working really well.
I'm schedualed for surgery on my nose on October 18th, if all goes well. I had an EKG on Friday, but now I received al call from my pcp and have to have another test at the cardiologist. It seems my EKG had some changes and they want to further investigate it. Also found out I have carpal tunnel and trigger fingers in both hands. I told Don he needs to trade me in--lol---or find some crazy glue and and glue me back together as I must be falling apart! LOL

Get better soon. There must be something in the air. I've got something that I can't shake. I have been under the weather for 5 days now. I'm with you, it's time to trade this old body in for a new model. :D

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the good wishes. I seem to be at a standstill with this virus/flu/cold or whatever. I just started a new antibiotic yesterday to be taken for 7 days.

My surgery on the 18th has been postphone because of this cold, and also because my EKG showed some signs of a charge. I now have to go in on Monday and have a stress test. Because I can't walk to treadmill for the test. They will be injecting me with something to make my heart beat faster, then do the ultrasound, then bring my heart rate down again. This is the way Don has to have his stress tests.
I also have to alter around my coumidin for the surgery one week ahead of time and they failed to get me started on the injections for blood thinner in enough time for the surgery.
I will be anxious to find out how my stress test goes tomorrow.
Maybe I need that "vibe" from the health fair!!

Thanks so much for all the well wishes. I had the stress test this morning and now I have to wait till
wednesday to find out the results.
It was a strange way for a stress test with them injecting into an IV to make my heart run fasteer. Becausre I can't walk and get my heartbeat up with a treadmill, they do it this way instead. They had alot of trouble with the IV and it took longer, and I was worried about how high they get my heartbeat and how they get it back down, etc, but I got through it and can home and took another antibiotic for my cold and promptly fell aslept. I think my cold/flu/virus etc is getting better.
I'll keep you all posted and thanks!!
