Question:
Once again, my cardinals have given me reason to celebrate October. Here's to the Redbirds!
Oh I agree! But yesterdays game was a joke. Only good thing that came out of that game was the 3 homers at the end. At least we did win the division. Woo Hoo!!
Gretchen
Send Cardnials to do something ........in the direction of.....the bronx. :p
Congrats!
Karen :D
LOL Karen.. Hopefully they will something other than peter out in the first round of the play offs! For some reason they start going down hill at that time.
At least they got there! L :p L and you're season continues!
1 down, Go redbirds!
i wish pujols would not of gotten hurt early in the season or he would be the mvp .nut as it looks now ryan howard is going to be the mvp.i think everyone has to agree pujols is the best player in baseball right now.i hope he never leaves the cards.
2 down, and we're headed for St. Louis! The pitching has come around. Everyone is hitting. What a great time of year.
OHHHHHHH NOOOO
AND THE SEASON CONTINUES!!!!
Yikes, JW! Your Cards are gonna play my Mets!!!! Talk about an exciting end to an exciting season!
Mike
It's going to be tough! The Mets are really playing some ball. I wish we could pitch Carpenter every game. Good Luck, (but I hope your team plays lousy)
Jim.

LOL, Jim! Too funny! Ditto!
(Like I said it's gonna be an exciting end to an exciting season!)
Mike
YAY!!! .... The first game of the second round was posponed due to the tragic accident that had happened and the rain...
IT'S ONLY THE FIRST GAME! I must say, I'm a bit shaken by starting the series off with a loss, but keep the faith cardinal fans! I thought Weaver pitched an excellent game, until that Met thug sent that one into the next State. Oh well, I'm not going to cry about it. WE HAVE GOT TO START HITTING THE BALL!
P.S. Congratulations MikeK, I'm sure you're pround of the outcome.
LOL Albert Pujols said of Tom Glavine "He wasn't good. He wasn't good at all," Pujols said.
BTW Albert went 0 fer 3 with a walk and a K.
Time to lose the attitude and start hitting the ball were they ain't
The Cards are great as are the Mets and I am looking forward to a fun series.
What a game! Talk about stress. It looks like both the Cards and the Mets are going to do their best to cause fans of both teams to suffer massive flares!!!

No flare here, but I did enjoy a great BB game. Kudos to the Cards for gritty comeback!
I scratched through the entire game. I'm going to have to drink a beer tonight and relax a little. Thank goodness I'm not on MtX anymore.
1 Attachment(s) The Cards out played us in every way last night. Can you believe Suppan's homerun? A memorable game for Cardinal fans. Not so memorable for us Mets fans.
Like I said ... both teams are going to do what they can to cause their fans to suffer massive flares!
Oh my, we got roughed up.
Neither team can lose tonight!
ST. LOUIS -- Game 5 of the National League Championship Series between the Mets and Cardinals was postponed due to rain on Monday and has been rescheduled for a 8:19 p.m. ET first pitch on Tuesday at Busch Stadium.
It's the second rainout of the best-of seven series, which is tied at two games apiece. The first rainout came on Wednesday night, when Game 1 was shifted to Thursday at Shea Stadium.
"The forecast is calling for the type of rain we are having right now and then a steady drizzle thereafter," said Bob Watson, Major League Baseball's vice president of on-field operations. "There's no need to wait until then, start the game in that type of weather and then lose it, especially when the weather is supposed to be good [on Tuesday], in the 70s."
The starting pitchers will remain the same -- Tom Glavine for the Mets and Jeff Weaver for the Cardinals. Both will pitch on their regular schedule with four days of rest. Source: http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb
We lost again!!!!
