Your thread made me think....can you believe I have NEVER been in this or ANY chat room???? I'll have to try it some evening :) As Dee would say, I am just "so 5 minutes ago" :D

*To get into chat is simple(for Alli it's staying in :p ;) ). All you have to do is go up above where it says Welcome *Your name here* and it will say, (#)people in chat-refresh list. (usually it's 0 people in chat...). So right now you would click 0 people in chat and it may ask you to sign in, just put in your screen name and password and click on chat again. Then you are in and free to chat. If you wish to leave you can simply ex out of the box, but sometimes it traps you in there and people wonder why you arn't talking. The way to insure that you leave is to press Log out under Drop Down Menus are Disabled on this page.
*Some extras, you will notice their are a lot of things under Drop Down Menus are Disabled on this page. If you hit settings you can go to three tabs.
1st tab Options: you can change your background, change colors of speakers and edit your chat preferences.
2nd tab profile: your profile doesn't save so usually there is no point in filling it out. When there are large groups of people they usually choose a face. There are avatars down near the bottom, click one and it you will then have the face
3rd tab about: this just tells you about who owns the chat and who they use to set it up.
To whisper: click on the persons name once, and then type a message into the chat area, it won't be shown to anyone but the person you are chatting to. Everytime you wish to send a message don't forget to click the person's name.
To Private chat: Click the person's name once and press Private (this is located under users).
To Ignore: click the person's name once and then go down under the users and click Ignore.
To view a profile: Click the person's name once, and then go under the users section and hit Profile.
Emoticons- You have the tab Users (where it lists everyone in the chat room, and then you also have Emoticons. Click the tab for Emoticons and it will then let you
That is pretty much everything important about chat. There really havn't been any big chats lately :( Maybe one soon? If you have any more questions just ask and I'll try to answer em'.
