Okay. Time for some love here people. I have this pic I want to use as my avatar. And the thing says 100x100 or 19.5kb. Well my pic is only 10.5 or something like that. Why wont it fit! UGh!

Rich.......if you download irfanview...(I will post url) you can do lots with it....brighten, enlarge, crop etc....

well that didn't work.
Rich! if you don't have images........go to google.com and click on IMAGES right above the search window.......
another window will open.......type in elephants....dogs....cats....hearts etc whatever you want....up pops a lot of pix...usually so many choices so little time....no thats something else...anyway...forget that.....just click on the pic. you want and up pops the site it is from....at the top it says "click here to see alone" (or some such thing)....right click on the image.....up pops another windows (now you know why Bill Gates called it WINDOWS) this window has a list....click on "SAVE PICTURE AS"....click again.....up pops another window that says save picture and "save in"...I save all mine for the message board in MY documents......I use files for organizing the stuff ...but thats lesson # 2....
maybe you should print this out...it's easy just sounds complicated....to tell you the truth I just do it so automatically now that I had to go back and see what things were called.................... :D
thank you sally. i have to print this out because i will not remember all this. i will give it a try. what the worst thing that can happen is my compture will crash. o well it will have to get over it. thanks again. denise help me before but i forgot how. were is denise. is she on vac.
