Question:
I know the ****CHAMPION OF ALL CHAMPIONS**** DOG rescue lady !! And cats too, for that matter.
Here's her latest rescue story...... :D :D
While dining out at breakfast in Waco on her way to San Antonio she looked out the window and saw a small dog looking at her shivering and shivering! :(
She shrieked and told DH to "Get that dog"! They and the manager and a truck driver encircled the dog...DH reached for it and it snapped at him.
He said, "He will bite me"!
She said, "You can grow another arm" and next line "so what, there is a hospital close by"!
Truck driver got a blanket, threw it over the dog, dog was put in a cat cage that is ALWAYS in the car for rescues and they went on their way.
Doggie now has a new home amongst many other rescues. Some feisty lady!
By the way, she is always trying to "give" me one.

What a great story...I love the " grow another arm LOL." Lucky poochie will have a new home soon.
yes, bless those who rescue, care for by way of fostering and adopt these animals. Special people and lucky pets fur sure :)

1 Attachment(s) Wow, I must be REALLY blessed! LOL:) Here's the mama and seven babies that we just fostered! My husband found her with her three day old babies and came back with a cage and gloves (didn't want to lose an arm!), and the funny thing was - she jumped right in our jeep! Needless to say, we're keeping the mama, and 6 of the 7 babies have been adopted. Guess we need to keep the tools in the jeep from now on :) Thanks, Juanita!
