Ah, yes, KJ. I agree with Denise. We simply MUST know what you're wearing! I'm sure you're sick of hearing this, but how I envy you being in high school! You probably will not realize it a lot of the time, but it IS one of the most fun times in life - no kidding! Ahhhh.......boys.....proms.....new friends....boys.......new clothes....boys :) Enjoy it all, KJ! Any "plans" for a future yet????? Whatever you think of doing I know you will do it well. Just like our Dee, you are also one amazing young lady - I would be most proud to have you BOTH as two of my granddaughters! Ah, heck, how about I just adopt the two of you??? LOL LOL LOL

NANCY--- just so you know, Dee and I have talked and agreed that yes, you may adopt us as granddaughters!! HAHA
What am i going to wear? Probably jeans and a tshirt and a zipup? To me, first day of school is no different than every other day of school... haha... why try to make myself up the first day if im not gonna follow through with it for the rest of the year?
I am currently single again----> so im looking forward to the whole "boys" thing you mentioned Nancy!
The closer it gets to the first day of school, the more nervous i get... I havent been to a new school my entire life, i have been in a private school system since kindergarten... I have never been to school with more than 300 people, and now im going to a school with about 1500... and not only am i just switching schools BUT--- i am switching out of traditional classroom learning--- into self directed learning.... so its going to be a pretty big change in my life, my schedules, my routines, etc.... but it'll be good.. I needed to get out of the private school system!!

Good luck! I know it sounds like a TON of kids, and it probally will be for the first part, but the more kids the more friends right? I go to a school with about 1500 kids and yah its a lot, but after a while you get used to the croweded hallways, and stuff.
New schools are also fun, you get to meet new people, but I have to say it is really nerve wrecking. Things will be fine, and knowing your great outgoing personality you'll be fine.
I really like your ticker it's the best! lol

ughhh all feelings of excitement are gone..
i dont want summer to be done.... it went wayyyy too fast...
ONE MORE SUMMER UNTIL IM DONE SCHOOL!! AHHHHHHHH!!


Awwww.....Kim....don't think of it as summer being "over"....think of it as fall and winter "starting" :) "Change" is exactly what LIFE is.....Years ago I had a friend whose credo was "nothing lasts forever". He used to try and pound it into my hard head all the time. One day, many years later, the light finally went "on". He was so right! Now, when I am happy about anything I truly cherish that time cause I know "nothing lasts forever". When I am sad or hurting I always remember "nothing lasts forever".
So, dear KJ, please enjoy this new time of your life.....it's exciting and scarey all rolled into one. Just remember NOTHING LASTS FOREVER and you'll do just fine!!!
