Question:
I have lived here for 5 years and would reaaly like to meet some people who don't look at me like I am a freak!!!!! and sometimes if they are brave enough to actually say something to me instead of staring they say "what is that, ringworm?" I usually explain what p is but rpeople mostly don't understand they just nod their head and say "oh, okay". Sorry for rambling on like that! Can somebody help me find a support group or just someone to talk to PLEASE
Hi Sasha:
Welcome to the boards. I'm sorry you're feeling like such a freak right now - we all do at one time or another :( . The NPF doesn't list any organized support groups in CO on the webpage... but you've definitely found people to talk to right here. I am going to post a link to your thread in the "Psoriasis Forum" where more people will see it.
Welcome to the family. Glad you found us.

Hi Sasha,
I lived at the AF Academy and in the Denver area. We went to the Academy Christian Church on HGY 83 and my kids went to Academy Jr. High.
We lived there from 1979-1981. We moved to Aurora and stayed there until 2001.
I'm sorry that you have p. I have pp on my hands and feet and have never seen any one with this kind of p. I have had it for 40 years and have just had to learn to live with it. Read a lot and ask questions and you will learn a lot about how people cope with it. I will go to the psoriasis forum and start a thread about this.
