A dear friend of mine has entered a contest at

Her story is "A Dying Mother Is No Excuse" by “Selfish Employee“, and she's just a wonderful lady, and she's had a very tough year. If anyone ever deserved to win a vacation, it's this dear friend.
She already won a place in the semifinals, and voting starts at 12:00 noon EST today for the grand prize winner.
I'm voting every day, but I could sure use some help!
