Question:
I am hoping everyone's experiences at the 2006 conference is informative, educational, safe, and most of all enjoyable. :) Wishing I was with you.
Since it looks like everyone else here is either still downstairs visiting, or have gone to bed already (like I should do!...lol), I'd say it's safe to say the conference is off to a great start. The NPF generously provided appetizers for the support group leaders, so many of us caught up with each other there. I was playing chauffeur picking up some late arrivals at the airport, so I missed part of the evening. I'm sure others will be checking in if they have access to the net. Well, off to get a few hours sleep before we start our seminars in the morning.
Conference Peeps:
I'll be at the hotel conference later today. (I've actually been in Portland for several days already on business.) If anyone needs to email anyone or to use the internet while they are at the conference, you are welcome to use my laptop. Also, I just got stuff for Buttery Nipples (the drink, not actually butter and body parts) and Coconut Mojitos. So, if you get a hankering for one, let me know!

Friday night...
i am having a freaking blast here... i think pretty much everyone is here now (though i havent seen steve yet, he was supposed to be getting in in the late evening...
and from what i can tell, everyone is having a blast. nemo and i are busy tearing portland apart (bwahaha just kidding!)... while everyone else drinks their nights away!! haha
tonight was just like the beginning of the conference... so gail said a little something, and then the exhibits were open for 3 hours and people just kinda got to know each other.
tomorrow is when the important stuff happens, the breakout sessions and such!!.... im excited!
well.... im gonna go back downstairs now, just came by to say hi and check my email!

Im having a great time, i was sitting on the plane going "oh my god..im actually going to portland!!!!" i was sooo happy to be here(and still am).
Currently KJ & I are in my room. I have met so many epole that i spend all night & day talking to non stop && i have seen many familiar faces! :) I love spending time with all of my "p peeps" haha. I just wish everyone here who can't make it was in portland with us .
I guess that's all for now, I will fill you guys in more as the workshops kind of stuff later :)

Portland is my hometown, and I live just two hours away, and my 30-year class reunion is in Portland this weekend.
Oh well...I have to work today...and I have a huge project due on the 8th.
It's no fun being a responsible adult sometimes.

For those that survived the the trip so far :p I hope that this last conference day is a fitting climax to a most eventful weekend.
If and when you happen to be walking, driving, flying, or teleporting home I hope that your trip is pleasant, smooth and safe.

i made it back home about an hour ago, safe and sound..
and ive gotta tell you, a couple tears were shed on the plane ride..
seriously i had a great time this weekend, as i always do.... being with all of you guys who were there.... the love i feel is just overwhelming... you guys truly are a light in my life:)
a special note to dee/nemo: i cannot explain to you what it meant to me to be able to spend this weekend with you,...the bond we have shared over the internet for a year and a half only grew this weekend, and i will continue to cherish/think about the memories that we made..... meeting you was probably the most exciting part of my weekend (sorry everyone else), and after meeting you in person, i feel even more honored to call you my friend..
to everyone else: thanks for the laughs, the fun, the hugs, and the smiles..
