Question:
I see a running guy on the cover, but it's not Dave (Julio)!!! :p
Mind you, I have yet to read the article. But I just thought I'd give a little "shout out" for my favorite "itchy triathlete" :D
See you in Portland, buddy!
Scott is a very sweet person. When he came on here one night asking for help, Kimbercat and I tried to help him. We directed him to the nearest ER, because he was Edermic. Its so nice to know his story has a happy ending. Hes went through a lot of road blocks, but his strengh and faith saw him through. We are all proud of you Scott.
Heres a few links to Scotts story.
This is just four links, but his user name is Wordsmith if you want to read more about him.
Thanks!
(But that's actually Scott Urner, Marathon Extraordinaire)..
Yes it is. The one and the same.

THE EDERM RAN 3:49 IN THE NY MARATHON!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just wanted to thank you all for you support in the past two months, of course many of you know that I was 90% covered entirely and saw myself to the ER just 6 weeks ago...
It is still hanging about-- a lot on my back, speckled on my chest, and big sections of both legs, but with the support from this site I got the gumption to get back running and kept my goal of running the NY marathon.
And no doubt ran a personal best by 15 minutes: 3 hrs., 49 min!!
Not only that, I went out slow-- I was 16,000th place at 13.1 miles-- and then passed 10,000 people by race's end.
Sorry, I didn't inform any you New Yorkers from the site of my presence out there, that would be my only regret, but I just wanted to thank everyone on the site for helping through this - remember, this is still MY FIRST BREAKOUT of my life and I'm 32 years old... I was freaking out to say the least.
But I think the support I got from here is evidenced by ther results above! Thanks!
--Scott Urner (You can plug in my name in the NY marathon website and see for yourself! Thanks again!)
I wondered the same thing. If it was Julio or not. When I got my issue, I expected it to be him I saw on the cover. No matter...........
JULIO, YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep all the great running! Run Forest, RUN!
Love, a.

Wow! I didn't realize that was THE Scott, Wordsmith! That makes it all the more amazing and inspirational than I originally thought! Congratulations on an amazing recovery and attitude. Keep up the good work! :)
I immediately thought of the itchy triathlete too! :D
I would like to say Congrats to Scott!! I am sure I speak for all us with p when I say you make us all very proud!!!!!! Keep up the great work and I am sure you will be beating your new personal best in no time!! :)
Scott:
Your success and personal resolve are so inspiring. I am so impressed with your accomplishment. Kudos to you. It is wonderful to see you doing so well and simply "livin' it up" despite your disease. Well done.
Krista
I'd like to congratulate both marathon runners! Running a marathon is not only a physical achievement, but a mental accomplishment as well. Add on top of those factors that both these gentlemen suffer from psoriasis........I'm in awe of both of you!
