Question:
Am I the only person who can't stand this blazing inferno like weather lately.
It was 100 degrees yesterday in Greenwood , sc.
I thought I was going to smother to death --felt like a hot blanket over my face.
What is the weather like in your area?

It was a bizzillion degrees in NYC last week when I was there. :eek: I think in the mid 90's actually. Humidity makes it feel all the more hot and doesn't do much for the hair either I might add...lol.
Thankfully its cooler here in Boston today after some high 80's and humidity with crazy storms....right now it's 68 degrees. ahhhhhhhh...
I recommend ice cream, swimming, and AC...and lots of it! :)

right now, 100 degrees sounds like heaven, its 104 here, which is better than 110 and up which is what it was for a couple of weeks there! im pretty sure im melting, wish i was in someplace much cooler, like alaska!
I'm in Anderson, SC. Not far from you at all. Yeah it's been awful, the humidity is terrible. We've had 100 degree days too, and today's bad because of all the storms last night. Did you get the bad storms too? Belton got hit pretty good from what I've heard. I've been trying to get sun lately and it makes you feel almost sick it's so hot. I'm ready fall already! :)

You made me laugh.....:D:D:D I lived in Houston for years and years and years. All of my children were born there. I can remember having attic fans and the clothes in the closet molded. When we got our first window air conditioner I was in HEAVEN!! Moved to Dallas in 1962 and went back to visit and getting off of the plane I nearly gasped with the humidity.
Hope I don't ruin the sale of your house. ;)

It's much better than dry frigid winters anyway! :D
Upper 80s to lower 90s here in Miami. The humidity is worse than the heat though. We do get a constant and decent breaze from the ocean since we are surrounded by water for the most part.

it's hot as heck here, ran that 5k race lastnight downtown and i thought i would evaporate..... :eek: :(
well Houston and Arizona seam to hot for me. Miami might to but the water sounds nice. nc might be the right place for us some day. 3 more years and im out of the cold.

LOL Hell has no fury like a woman with p sweating.
One thing leads to another -you sweat-start itching-sweat some more- stress out then more P spots come out.
I hate summer not to mention wearing long sleeves in the summer does not help any.
I hung my head out of the car yesterday like a dog trying to get some air.
You can imagine what I looked like.
was in the 70's here today. Down to 62 I think for the over night. Would have been a really nice weekend if it wasn't for the clouds and rain yet again!
I'm gonna grow gills....lol
Was a balmy 111 here today. Bright sunshine till about an hour ago. Now talking of possible dust storm here in the valley of the sun.

today was the hottest day we've had so far this summer... and it was 31 degrees celsius..... which i figured out online... that equals 87.8 degrees fahrenheit..
here in edmonton, during the summer.. the temperature usually sticks around 20-ish degrees (68 fahrenheit).... and anything past 25 (77 fahrenheit) everybody starts freaking out because it is wayyy too freaking hot... haha

Seriously Kim, I can't feel bad for you folks. At least you folks get some relief during the fall, spring, and winter. Here in Miami it's in the 80s during the fall and spring, 90s during the summer, and a freezing 70s during the bitter winter.

lol, Alli....it's actually pretty unusual for it to get this hot here (thus the record breaking). I think we average something like 11 days of 100 or more, so we're using them up now.....lol. It should be just about right in August. :)
