...so touching. By such wonderful people... Thank you so much.
When I first joined the NPF, I got brave and I posted a thread... it was about finding the Common Denominator in your disease and in mine. I thought that if we could find one thing... something... anything...in common with each other, we may have something that we could all work towards to finding a cure for this awfully befuddling, depressing and bewildering disease.
What I have discovered along the way... were that children had this disease, and it really turned my head about. I was more confused than ever! But, I was also moved and touched... and it affected my life in very big and significant ways. I have found that those things that have worked for one somehow doesn't work for the rest of us, and I don't care particularly in what methods each of use in battling this disease (from diets to vitamins to MTX to biologics... whatever works for you, I am so glad and happy and my heart is filled with joy!)
What I have found out is that we all have one thing in common... and that's our daily battle with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. This is what we have in common. And our support of each other is so important, so vital, to keeping us connected... to keeping the spirit of another human being inspired enough to go on with life.... and for them to inspire others along the way.
You are all special. Each one of you is special to me, in your own glorious and wonderful ways. If you don't know that, or you never knew that, I want to remind you of that now.
You have all touched me. I love you.... And I thank you for that...
