Question:
We young adults of the NPF message board have decided amongst ourselves that we need to spread some love here, to keep it as supportive and wonderful as possible. So, heres the theme for this thread. Post some nice things about some very helpful people on these boards. We want to thank everyone for everything theyve contributed!
I'll start:
Rich - I dont think I've ever heard of a nicer human being. You are selfless and a wonderful person. My hero, Oscar Wilde, once said "Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing." Sadly, I must disagree with him for once, because Rich obviously knows the value of everything. Thanks for being awesome!
Nemo - When I first came to this board, I was kind of lost and a little shaky about talking with other teens. You invited me right in and now I love it here! Everytime there's a new person, you make sure to greet them with as much cheerfulness as you greeted me. You are an amazing friend and you're super cool!
This is a great thread. Thanks for starting it!
There would be so very many many people to thank and be grateful for that I couldn't even begin to name them all!
I have so many fond memories of the first time I came here and the people who reached out to me---then having the friendships develope over the years and getting better and better with actually having the oppotunity to meet those great people in person at CHD and at Boston.
Whether I've met you in person and have chatted on the boards, and or chat rooms, I know this is a special place to come to find support, concern, help friendship and love.
Thanks,
Sandy

ps polly said it. you can't keep me away from wonderful people
Nice topic and it makes one think before they speak......
I'm a teenager at heart who has learned a lot through the school of hard knocks and being 47 soon to be 48 in July.
Having P since 18 and learned last year that I also have PA was not much fun, but I'm thankful to have a really great Rheumy who does care and does everything she can to help along with a wonderful wife who is supportive and understanding.
When the days come that I start feeling sorry for myself, I see someone with one leg or worse off then I and I get grateful real quick that I am where I am at this moment......
It's really just "One day at a time"......
Robert
