Question:
Guys,
I wanna know what effect has having P had on your professional life. I've seen, it affect different people differently.
It hasn't affect me professionally at all. I have actually had two promotions in last two years & am doing mighty fine. :) And almost all know of my condition. I think it does affect you only if you let it.
It does affect the mind though, I mean when you are not busy & your mind is free & when you see all the others flaunting their clear skin. Nothing drastic though. All my friends, my family have been extremely helpful. :)
There's a lot of worthwhile stuff to be done in this life.
Tell me what you think.....
Cheers!

I think for the majority of psoriasis sufferers it has little impact on professional life. But, don't fool yourself. This disease can be disabling. And it can limit your choices professionally because it can limit you physically and mentally and not just if you let it. It's nice to think we have that much control over it, but we don't.
Just because we, are able to do okay and manage a profession with this disease doesn't mean we will always be able to do that. I wish everyone luck and hope and pray that it always remains something that they can manage along with their profession. But do me the turn and realize that it ain't always so, to no fault of our own.
