If given a choice, which 5 forums would you choose as discussion categories?
1. Living with Psoriasis and/or Psoriatic Arthritis

7. PS and/or PA Treatments
8. PS Treatments
9. PA Treatments
10. CAM Treatments
11. Need to VENT Grrrrrrrrr

13. Non - P related health
14. Caregivers
15. Diet and Nutrition
I would opt for 2,3,4,12 and 15 although the Community News thread is important and does not really fit well in any other category :( This might require that the much discussed Diet and Nutrition topic be scratched :(
Why just five boards? Someone on here posted that the type of software NPF uses would allow as many or as few boards as they wished. Also, I think a welcome board is a very good idea. That same person mentioned it. It would be a place to identify as someone new. Apparently, most newgroups and forums have this, Welcome Board.
So, my choices would be E some of the above and some write in's. LOL.... cause as long as we are dreaming why not dream Big.

I agree Granny... I also agree with Annie! I just think it will function better if things are a little more categorized by what you might be looking for. It's not that I hate change or feel threatened... it's just EASIER the other way.

what would this place without comp and alts too? we have had some great ideas thrown around in there...plus some nice clearing up of P....I say that alone is worth having the C and A.....
For those not interested in it....why eliminate it....just don't visit ....almost as good as the ignore button! ;)

Annie LOL Thats what happens when when discussions are focused on fixing something as opposed to complaining that the something is broke. It appears as though 5 forums are not enough, but the challenge was to pick the 5 most important. Not an easy task, and without a doubt at least one important forum would be left out of everyones list.
The Welcome Newcomers is good suggestion but I don't think it would have made my personal top 5 . If implemented, maybe the NPF will put Rich in charge :D

Great idea about putting Rich in charge of the Welcome committee! I don't know why the number of forums has to be limited, but if it does I think that'd be a great one to do.
