Question:
Im not necessarily talking about the special someone, but just a special someone... You know, that person who came into your life and somehow (maybe without even knowing it) changed you?! And even if they didnt stay in your life for very long, the change was permanent?! I will tell you about a few people like this in my life, and i would love for you guys to share stories about that special person and how they came into your life and what they did for you...
My first one is actually someone younger than me... I met them through mutual contacts, and... pretty much fell in love (in a very heterosexual, freindly way, i dont mean like lovey love<3 haha).... I let her into my life, and she did the same... and we connected quite well actually... sharing details of our lives... some that i havent even felt comfortable sharing with other people...And even though I dont know if she knows it, by criticizing, praising, and advising me in my actions... she taught me so much about my life and where I was headed... And now, when i am possibly in a situation where I might do something stupid, her voice rings in my head telling me not to do it... I cant say that all the time i listen, but sometimes i do-- and she has definately made me re-think my actions LOTS...Even if we dont stay freinds forever (though I hope we do), i hope that one day she can see what she has done for me and that maybe in some small way i can do the same for her
come on guys, I want to hear your stories!!
I'm not going to name this person, but they have made a HUGE difference in my life...and I don't think they know it. This person seems to have flipped my life around. Through not understanding what was going on and how things were changing with me and my peers and when they stepped in things seemed to become a whole lot clearer. I was able to talk with them when I was upset and needed support or when I had great news and I hadn't told anyone cuz I wanted them to know before everyone else. As I did for them, even though sometimes they may have not been in the best mood..I always felt as if we were friends in real life..not just by computer and phone. If that person may be reading this...I want to thank them for all that they have done for me..knowing it or not. They are an amazing role model in my life and I dont think that they can even begin to realize how much of a change for the good they have made in me! I love this person (not like couple love....like sisterly love..friend love..) and know that no matter what happens with us..we will always be in each others memories...for the good.
