Collect Questions

I went to my derm yesterday & PsoriasisConnection had a small display in his waiting room. It had a card with website and phone number to register in case you are not registered with them. They also had a bracelet with "Get Connected" embossed on them. It is transparent & will stretch a little. It does NOT have the words in color on them. I am not impressed with it. Did anybody else see them?


I picked one up from my derms office the other day too. They're not bad, I do wish the letters were a different color though.


I like mine, it has lil sparkles in it. :) and no pharma name on it .
Can you color in the letters with a marker?

What about coloring in the letters with nail polish? Then you can change the color when you want to.

Gee, I never knew they had sparkles....I thought they looked kinda blah when the photo was on the npf home page...now I'm going to keep my eye out...anyway, getting connected is great! :)

Mine was falling off my wrist for the longest time...i guess my wrist got bigger....


Mine is really big also. They might not be the best looking but it's nice to have something to educate people about psoriasis. I'm very thankful for them! Stephanie


I received my bracelet right away and it does have sparkles. My friends and family asked about it and now they are ordering them too.

I got mine from CHD and i gave one that i found in my bag to my friend and she hasn't taken it off since :) gotta love friends!

These kinds of bracelets are pretty popular with the college kids at the school I work at. There is one for Lance Armstrong that is yellow and has the words "Live Strong". Others are for breast cancer (pink) and easter seals... It's just kind of like putting a bumper sticker on your car... People see it and say, oh what's your 'cause' ... I like mine and wear it!

........yes many of us still wait for bracelets..... a month and a half.... but once it gets here It'll make it all the better. My derm doesn't have a display with them...

I am glad that most replies were positive about the bracelets. I will wear mine and let you all know what kind of reaction I receive from it.


I got my bracelet and can't wear it because it is too small. They need to redesign and have bigger sizes. I would be glad to even pay a fee. It does me no good because its too small.

I did thry to put nail polish over the words last night to have them stand out more and it looked really nice, but when I woke up this morning the nail polish had peeled off overnight. This morning I tried filling in the letters with a fine tipped magic marker and it's stayed on all day and the words really stand out. It looks nice.

Sandy-It will wash off in the shower (the marker ) cuz i had red pernament marker on mine...from just having marker on my hand it rubbed off and its not there anymore.
People ask about my wrist bands ALL the time. But i wear my "get connected" braclet on my left hand the others on my right. I think it helps it stand out :)

Thanks, Dee. I haven't worned it yet in the shower. Now I'm wondering about using some of that decorators paint you can get in a craft shop. I have alot of it here and maybe I'll try that. I do like the braclets and wear it all the time, but was just thinking of a way to have the words stand out abit.

I love my bracelet! I put it on at the Making Connections meeting I went to and haven't removed it since. I play with it when my P is bothering me or when my joints are sore. It's like my little P rosary.

I have many people ask whay my bracelet is all about and I gladly tell them. Most of them think that Psoriasis is like dry skin, boy they are wrong.
Anyway, my bracelet could be any color and I would still wear it with pride!
oh yes, and I play with mine too and think about Psoriasis free days ahead


Mine's still not in the mail yet. *sigh* :(
