Question:
just kidding, but I wish I could have sold the stuff I had left when I quit, could have made a few grand. Seems like a place like ebay would regulate the sale of prescription drugs....... heres one link but there is a lot more if you take a look. Steroids seem to be popular.

Good Lordy...well nothing suprises me anymore.!!
That's crazy. I have lots of stuff that hasn't worked for me. Maybe I should dispose of it there!

You're right - it's illegal and against policy, not to mention very dangerous. Unfortunately, with millions of listings per day, eBay cannot fully police itself. They rely mostly on members to report such violations while they're active, and they do take action.
Here are eBay's related policies - if you're a member and have seen violations, there are links to report them on these pages.
Prescription Drugs
Medical Devices
Prescription Drugs and Medical Devices
Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia
Note: eBay will never disclose to a third party (ie, the reporting member) what their disciplinary action is - it can be a warning, cancellation of listings, or suspension of seller's account. If you see a repeat offender, do not assume eBay did nothing, but report the seller again. Repeated offenses are a sure way to get suspened, but only if caught.
OT, but interesting - this genius bought all he needed on eBay to set up an Ecstasy lab, and got caught: Got It On "E"-bay
It's not just selling that can get you into trouble.

Unfortunately they make too much profit from these sales of questionable and illegal items to police them. It's amazing how many sellers slip through the huge million listings per day cracks without paying for their listings....there are far to many for ebay to track or keep up with.
try listing a set of Lawn Jarts once and see what happens Tao.
Ebay is not a community, it is a business. Theres a community that uses it but ebay is responsible for the police force.
In my opinion, they haven't done a good job in the policing department. I've been posting this stuff for over a year now. They flat out don't care. Just whatever you do.....don't sell lawn jarts!
Hi,
I reported the sale of the prescription meds yesterday to ebay and they indicted that they need members or people viewing the items to also help them police items that are not to be sold on ebay. There is a lising of what can and cannot be sold on ebay.
They cover so many items on ebay to be sold, and some things are really quite unusal to be found on sale. Have you ever watched Jay Leno's items for sale on ebay--where he finds really crazy items for sale?
