Question:
Gah I am like a total CSI obsessive....
are there any other CSI: Las Vegas fans floating around in here?
Sorry,
The only show I like on TV these days is 24!!
if you would like some real crime drama, just pm me.
just a note, what happens on csi is not how it really goes down.
the other shows on A&E, Discovery, and Court TV are usually good examples of real life crime investigation.
Dont ya just love how someone has always gotta come put down the shit you like? I just cant get enough!!! VOMIT!
Please don't think I'm gross, but...If anyone else out is like me, having P means you have a tendency to leave...um, evidence? wherever you go. What if the writers at CSI had the investigators find this "evidence" at a crime scene. Wouldn't P scales have DNA? What if the crime happened at the P convention? Not that anyone with P would ever commit a crime. ;)
but, wouldn't it be a way to educate the TV viewers about our condition. They could describe P and explain that it's not contagious, detail the symptoms and maybe at the end of the show, put up the NPF website?? Anyone know any writers at CBS?
Now that is a pretty good idea. Which one would do it ithough? The one in Vegas in my fav!!!
they should have the next P convention in Vegas! It'd be the perfect setup.
Haha yeah, that would be a pretty nifty episode I think!
Well, my friends and I have got a petition going to allow me to be a CSI writer (in your dreams Lora) because I soooo need to get Cath and Sara together...anyway, thats a different story, but yeah, when jerry calls me up to let me know that he needs me to write the whole show I'll definately include the P episode. *wink*
*shakes head and skips back off to la-la land*
well, I think if enough of us got together and pitched the idea, they might do it! :) I've already looked on the CBS website and they won't even consider "unsolicited ideas". We'd have to find someone on the inside.
heres a real life psoriasis csi case from australia. found it while searching for p news.

psoriasis was used to identify the suspect.
Please don't think I'm gross, but...
I think about that all the time! On CSI they're always busting people who leave a single flake or hair behind. And I think of how I leave a trail of millions of flakes wherever I go. A psoratics house would be the worst crime scene ever! I always wonder if a person with psoriasis could get falsely convicted for a crime because a flake worked its way to a crime scene.
Anyone catch the premeir for CSI: Miami?
Spoilers
I was kind of dissapointed. The death of the charachter was pointless, and the story lacked focus. I'm guessing the charachters death was a last minute thing because a breakdown in contract negotiations or sometihing. Plus he died because he didn't clean his gun, which isn't all that glamorous. Not a very sexy way to go out.
Love CSI,
Every Tue/Thur we get 3 hours yippeee
I grew up in Las Vegas! The crime there really is dramatic. We had a CSI marathon on for about one or two weeks and I think I got to watch every episode!
wow that is so cool!!
I've often wondered if there were ever a crime commited in my house what the forensics would think?? It would certainly keep them busy. Can you just hear it now? "Oh, my God it appears that the husband has been exfoliating his wife to death!" LOL
