Question:
I am mildly disappointed but not terribly surprised there is no thread that I could find on the passing of the 3rd member of the great band The Ramones. While not exaclty a commercial smash, The Ramones have left their indelible mark on music history.
Johnny is the 3rd member of the band to die in the past few years,following Joey and Dee Dee. Johnny died of prostate cancer and was due to give a farewell interview on Howard Stern on Thurs. he passed on Wed with plenty of celebs around his death bed. Im not exaclty sure if that was a cool thing or not but it was nice that he was acknowledged for his contibution to music history.

BUMMER. I was aware that Johnny was ill, but this is the first I've heard of his passing. I guess Marky is the only one left now.

ok the Romones r an / punk rock band, if i may say, my ex-husband which is a punk rocker himself== Luke Puke And The Vomit = He was one of the lead guitarist of the band... he was "THE Professer"" i was "The Mistress" they r " Romones" r a 70/80's rock /punk rock band.... an d my ex had meet them in person at a bar here in roanoke va... they r and will be missed by fans im sure .... so shawn have you heard of Johnny Rotten????
