Question:
Hi. It's Sunday night... and I've had a really great weekend. But tonight I'm lonely. Sunday nights have been hard for me cause my ex and I were always together on Sunday nights. We'd watch the HBO shows together, eat ice cream, drink a little wine. I really enjoyed my Sunday nights for the last two and a half years and tonight I miss him. I watched The Soprano's, it was really good. And then I watched Big Love, it was not as good. Now I'm doing laundry and reading my emails.
On a lighter note - I have been talking to several different people from the online dating sites, and that has been encouraging. I'm meeting someone new for lunch tomorrow, hopefully it will go well. He seems nice.
Anyway... happy Sunday night everyone! Just wanted to say hi.
Sorry to hear you're having a lonely night. :( I'm sure it's most difficult for you when you remember things that the two of you used to do together. It's a good time to reflect on the things you enjoyed, and what you hope to find again some day. I guess all you can do is consider it a learning process, and move on. Good luck with your date tomorrow, and I hope he turns out to be someone you enjoy spending time with. I'm sure you're being cautious about meeting anyone you've met over the net in a public place for safety. Let us know how it goes for you. Your friends here care. :)

K, so he was really nice. Very polite, a real gentleman. Kind of soft spoken though but he was nervous. Unfortunately there was just no chemistry there... I just didnt feel any. But, he asked me out again for Friday night, and I said yes because I wanted to give myself more time, another chance, to try and click with him. But then, later in the evening, he called my cell phone, I didnt answer, he didnt leave a voicemail... and then 10-15 min later he called back again, and then another 10-15 min later he called again! Then, right after that he sent me an email that said he lost my phone number and really wanted me to call him. Creepy... is it just me or does that come off as desperate, clingy, impatient and possessive? So I politely declined his date invitation for Friday and wished him well.
Moving on... I have another lunch date with someone else on Thursday. Wish me luck with that one :)
My ex and I used to sprawl out on the sofa and watch "Law and Order." Needless to say, we did a lot of leg rubbing as Law & Order is on all of the time. I am actually surprised that their isn't a "Law & Order" Network yet. I almost feel as if Lenny is my Uncle - thats how much I have watched the show over the past 4 to 5 years (May his soul rest in peace....)
Next month is the filing date for my ex and I. I am very happy about this as I honestly know that the two of us were not very compatible.
Unfortunately, I still hear from her often and she has spent significant time over th epast 11 months stalking me. She has been like a damn gnat - plus within three weeks after she moved out - she shacked up with someone she met over the internet. She blames her co-dependancy for this.
All I know is that in the future, I am only dating healthy people who have varied interests in life and are emotionally mature. I like the idea of a partner and not a shadow.
