Question:

Hi everyone, I am trying to catch up all the posts I missed. Was wondering if there is any word about our Florida/ Gulf Coast members Pam? Chaim? and anyone else who was in the path of Ivan/ Frances/and the other storm....I am praying that everyone is OK. Any news would be welcome.

Yeah I'm with you granny! Rough weather here in NC! I was riding back from my doc's appointment yesterday and I swear I couldn't see the car in front of me when I was going down 15-501. It was horrible! A little scary too! But I made it through. :D
I hope everyone and everyone's families are safe! I can't believe how many people's lives these hurricanes have managed to end. :( It's so sad! I'm praying for all of their families!
Hope all our board members are safe, your families are safe, and your 'stuff' is still in one piece!

sshs the upper gulf coast wont ever be the same. what a mess .they said if it would have came in 20 miles more west it would have been way worse and if would have been a direct hit to new orleans there woudnt have been anything left. over 25 ft surge and 30+ waves . the waters where it did come it was deeper and made less of a inpact on the coast line . can you imagine worse shshs.

Thank you Bella and everyone for your concern. All is fine here, I did check in on the "Ivan" thread and the "prayers" thread..............I would never leave Pfamily hanging! :)

Answers:

Tell us about the front line experience there. All we get is the news. I'm sure you've got a few storys by now. What was it like riding it out?

Answers:

Really scary!!! We had the radio on and the newscaster kept telling us of tornados with 150mph plus winds..............that was freaky enough..........here it is the middle of the night and he's saying "we just lost 70 homes on hwy 98, watch out it's coming up 4th street, no 5th st................the correction center just got hit........." this went on for hours as we huddled in our living room ...scared half to death!!

Answers:

I am so glad you are ok Pam.....Better leave next time!

Answers:
