Does this sound like psoriasis to you?
Question:

Hello,
I didn't know quite where to post this question, but this seems to be where the most people are. I have been diagnosed with psoriasis and for the most part I've kept it at bay with diligent moisturizing, which is good since I no longer have medical insurance. I've always had these small, deep blisters that periodically attack my feet and hands. Very itchy and sometimes painful. I never got a definitive answer from a doctor, but they seemed to want to treat it as a fungus although they admitted that it didn't look like one and the medications never worked. I never did get to see a real dermatologist. Now with this cold, dry air it's spreading on my hands. Does this sound familiar to anyone out there? I'm actually hoping it is psoriasis, so at least I'll know I'm not contagious.

Answers:

dcontag,
Yes, it does sound like p to me. My derm tried to say it looked like fungus at first as well. He gave me stuff to clear it up but it didn't help at all. Then he said yep it must be p.
