Question:
The New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners found that Dr. Z represented a "Clear and Present danger to the public", and his license has been TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
A short order is being issued tonight stating that he has until 3/9 to disperse with his existing patients and and scheduled to date. He is prohibited from practicing any form of medicine after that date. A full texted order with their determinations will be rendered when they ratify the decision in two weeks.
YESTERDAY: They got through most of the "extraneous witnesses". They were able to impeach them with the emails and information I supplied to them and that they made me give them a certification for. The board did not want to continue this for another two weeks so , they subdivided into a committee and the committee had the authority to render a full decision which will be ratified in two weeks when the board reconvenes.
TODAY: They produced what they called a "fact finding witness" a former co worker of mine-she testified that I was ripping off the Federal Government by collecting SSDI and working. The Attorney General were in touch with me several times throughout the day and I gave them all the information about the Ticket to Work program and when I became eligible for it, and how I complied with the laws and regulations of it. The AG made a motion before the board to bar any testimony about my SSDI benefits and the board granted it. They sustained his motion. Any testimony about my receiving SSDI benefits was barred.
At 1:30 they started the cross examination of Dr.Z. At 7:50pm they called me to tell me the board was now in deliberation. At 10:10 pm they called me to tell me the good news. When I asked the AG if he "ripped him up", he said it was more like he brought him down! Dr. Z's attorney asked for a stay which the board denied. The suspension is effective 3/9, but the NJ Supreme Court will hear the underlying case on 3/7, which I will watch by Web Cast.
Im going to celebrate! The AG got on the phone and told me that without me there would not have been a case, and they cannot thank me enough. They said they would be in touch by Monday because tomorrow they will both be brain dead. While I am saddened that this professional has thrown his whole career away, I feel vindicated, and Im happy that the public in NJ will no longer be exposed to such a deceptive, manipulative, dishonest, and corrupt physician.

You did good. Now maybe you will be able to move past this and not have to deal with all the stress this has bought you. I think you should give yourself a big pat on the back. You deserve it. Congratulations.

I've been following your posts about the trials,etc and just wanted to congradualate you on a good well done. I'm sure it was a very stressful situtation to have to be in and do. You really did a very good job and I'm so proud of the stand you took. Just wanted to wish you good luck now on your healing and to try and take it easy more now to allow the healing to continue!!

The support from this group has basically held me together throughout this whole ordeal. I don't know if I can ever truly convey how important knowing I had you all was for me during this time. This was not an easy situation, and one I never want to find myself in again,and yes....my healing has definately begun. Hunmira is on it's way, but emotionally, mentally and even spiritually I feel like a ton of steel was lifted from me. You guys and my family made all the difference for me. The newspaper put out an article today. Im pasting the link. Thanks again everyone!

I am new to the boards so I haven't followed you from the beginning-sorry! But it sounds like you did such a brave thing! Thank You!!!! Great Job, it could not have been easy.!
It was and is still hard, but not as hard as it was! Now we move on to deal with the Fraud investigators so they can find all the stolen money. Im very happy to be getting it all over with, it has been a haul but this group has been great support for me, so if you are new, STICK AROUND....they are a great bunch of people. Thanks again!
