Question:
I have had psoriasis since I was 16 when I received a blood transfusion. I have learned to live with it and I also have learned to love myself. But how do I find someone that will accept who I am without me having to hide it all the time. I am a great girl, college student, construction worker, good credit, own home, good job, two vehicles---but I can't find love. What is wrong with me? Someone help?

while all these things are big pluses in your favor, they do not define you nor are the factors that make you a great person. Not saying that you mesure yourself against these things just want to make sure that you arent.
I know the holiday season sorta really rubs it in if your alone. But you say you have learned to live with it and to love yourself, these are very important steps and once you know you have truely done this you will find someone that will love you for you. You cant be afraid to take the chance, give people a chance while they are some that may reject you, you will find that most will be understanding.
Wish it was easier but its either put yourself out there or stay locked away. you have sound like you have had great success professionaly so your probalby strong and hard working just use those skills to look for a partner.

Without love my world just falls.
No passion in life with out this feeling
living without love has just left me reeling
One day i hope to find that love .
My heart it flies just above.
through the skies in the shape of a dove.
So fly with me through the air
and we will spread love every where.
Just made this up for ya. Even us men have troubles when it comes to finding love ourselves.And if it cheers you up then thats a bonus i think

you have got some wonderful advise. as im told. good things happen to those that wait or good things take time. well im not sure witch is better but it worked for me. i have found the best thing in my life next to my son. hope this helps alittle. i wish you the best and love will happen ou will see

Nice poem Andrew :) I am sure Amber that you will eventually find love, you are in college rite? why the rush? just wait, and some lucky guy will come ur way. My sister is 24 and stunning, but still is waiting 2 find her true love, so don't worry it might take a while, but you will eventually find it. then again..wat do i know? haha. im 13

Nothing is wrong with you. I used to feel the same way. I found my true love when I was least expecting it. It just found us. And I met Rich right here on the NPF. I never came here looking find someone so special. I just needed help dealing with my p and pa. Rich and I has helped each other through some of the roughest times in our lives. When I needed a friend to talk to he was always there for me. It's strange how things work. Three and a half weeks ago I moved from Fl. to Pa to be with him. It is a dream come true. So don't give up. When the right person comes along you will know it. Sometimes it just takes a while.
