Not all to long ago I remember any registered member could use a picture as ones signature here. Then out of the blue over a month ago, *poof* it won't let anyone use the [IMG] tag to post ones signature picture.
Anyone here know as to why NPF. won't let anyone post their signature picture ?
Just wondering because I miss the signature pictures alot of people used, includeing myself :( :(


I think they were eliminated for 2 reasons. For one it made the reading a little difficult, lots of clutter. And in my experience it slowed the site down. I didn't mind them, but I prefer reading without them. Some people's signatures took up a whole lot of room.
I thought colors were also eliminated. I was wondering how you get your text in blue?

Hello, Annie, and happy holidays to ya. :) Thanks for the responce.
As for all that clutter, The board ADMIN should of set a limit of 400 KB. by 400 KB. in size as that would of took care of the exess clutter. As for the speed of this site, sorry to say I have not seen any difference in the page loading. As far as you being distracted by the signatures, that to is an easy fix, just go to, user CP., edit options, scroll down to, Visible Post Elements and uncheek any or all three and like magic all the sigs etc go bye bye Lol.
Now for how I get the blue text. After I type in my text, I highlite what I typed, then in the drop down above ware it says color. Just select whatever color you want.
They did however do away with the size of the text, which I think was a good idea.
I still say they should bring back the option of useing a signature. ADMIN can limit a user to 400 X 400 KB. I am sure they have the bandwith to handle it.
I also moderate another fourm in my spare time :)

I forgot to add that I think it was done primarily for new people dropping in. Once we're here we can do all that adjusting and read it in our own desirable way. You have a happy one too. I'm going to try to color my world but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Well, I had to go into my options profile and change a setting before I could use color. Annie is now in color!!!!!
