Collect Questions

I just got home from work and my girls dad came over to my car. He told me that he had some bad news to tell me. His brother died last night. He was on his harley. He ran into a wall. My girls were pretty close with him. He and his wife are the reason we moved to Florida. They left us stay with them when we first moved here 8 years ago. My 5 year old is ok. She really doesn't understand. Jessi, my 13 year old is upset. I'm still in shock. He was only in his 40's. He has 4 kids from his first wife. It is so sad.

polly, i'm so sorry. one of my friends lost her father to a motorcycle accident about a year ago and he too was young. it's such a shame. we'll all be here if you need to talk. keep your head up and you're all in my heart.

oh that is a hard one. im so sorry.
i got rid of my harley 2 weeks befor my daughter was born and didnt ride again till she was out of highschool. i love to ride but theres a big risk everytime you straddle one. well you can tell your girls that there uncle was doing what he loved to do. sorry once again.


Polly so sorry. The lost of anyone that young is so tragic. Also the fact that your daugther was so close to him makes it doubly hard. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your daughter as you try to come to grips with the big WHY.

A big thanks to everyone for your kind words and support. Tomorrow evening we are heading down to my sister-in-laws house. The viewing is Thurday evening and the funeral is on Friday morning. We are going to stay there until Friday evening. So I'll talk to you all when I return.

Thnaks. These next few days are going to be tough to get through. We will get through it together. Nicole is starting to understand what is going on. Her teacher and kids in her class where asking her what happened to her uncle. She said she told them everything. She's only 5 so I'm not sure what she said.
I'm going to miss all of you while I'm out of town.
