Question:
How come the worst things happen to the nicest people?? Such as this wonderful, loving, helping family rite here. no matter what is wrong, or who someone is, we all help each other. My mom always talked about how this group of people was great because you helped people, and you always knew that when the time came, people would help you out. I want to thank you guys for being some of the best people i know! from helping me, other people, and my mom. I hope that someday there will be a cure, and this group of people will all be able to get it, and not just us, but everyone. Because i hate seeing people who don't diserve to suffer, suffer, or just anyone suffer, whether they diserve it or not..cuz really thats not up to me. i luv you guys..ur like family. THANKS SO MUCH!!

Welcome to life Nemo, sometimes it sucks but the nice thing about this group and the USA is that we typically stick together, most importantly when someone is down, someones usually there.
Just be careful to never stray to far away from the reef.
PS, that was a nice post!
Someone once told me that God never gives us a problem unless it is attached to a blessing. What that blessing may be or what it may mean, may not be so readily interpreted.
As the PA struggles to take over and render me crippled, I can't help but think that deep down inside, I STILL can inspire someone, I STILL can breathe and smell the roses (and thank my God for the opportunity to do so), I STILL can make someone smile along the way and I STILL can find an opportunity to better someone's life who so desperately needs someone to help better it for them...
Life continues to afford wonderful moments of clarity within the cloudiness.
You are a terrific young person, Nemo!!
Thank you for entering MY life... for you have made my life better for having entered into it.
As well as all of you...
Good luck on your journey to well-ness and happiness...
Blessings,
Joe
Awww Nemo, you're the best.

Hey Chicky....
Great Post... Its sort of that "unconditional love" felt between others who clearly understand the trials and tribulations each of us go through. We are quite unique in the aspect that "we know how each other feels when we post comments regarding the disease and the internal psyche of being at dis-ease."
Most dermatologists read books and practice medicine based on what they have perceived to be a psoriatics problem. Have they felt the pain? No... Have they walked in our shoes? No... Have they lived the side effects of some of the meds? No.
Thus, the bonding is stronger between each of us - due to the fact that each of us clearly knows what it takes to get through one day at a time. This is important because our experiences span so much time and it will constantly need to be addressed until a cure is found.

Hey guys,
thanks for the posts..they were all great. i was with my mom yesterday...after a meeting, and we were talking about how this disease can make one of 2 ppl. 1, a really great, wonderful, fun, and loving person. or 2. it can make someone who is so hurt inside they can't do anything but complane or hurt others. i think everyone who i know on here is number one. i gotta run, i luv you guys a ton! don't ever forget it either! bye

Hello Nemo,
Good to hear that you enjoyed the support group meeting. I think they are great for social interaction. I'm glad that you have the courage NOT to involve yourself with #2. I learned long ago that you don't need to lower yourself to that level to be a better person overall. I learned as a kid that those who always put down others to make themselves feel superior have a very low self-esteem. They build up hatred within themselves and later self-destruct... I just don't see anything can be gained by hating others.

Get back out to that swimmin hole, girl. Your in Scottsdale, for sakes.
I hope your having a wonderful time - I am thinking about doing a spring fling out that way and drive up to Wickenburg and Laughlin for a few days as well. Its been almost 10 years since I've been out in Scottsdale - thus your post on the other thread has me reminiscing + future planning.
Have fun...
