Question:
As hesitant or reluctant to embrace changes as the majority of people are, being such a part of human nature, I find the changes to the board rather beneficial.
For one, I do find the reading much easier. And I have the suspicion that the reason the site is remarkedly faster is due to the elimination of the fluff. I can now fly through the forums, reading what I care to and not sit twiddling my thumbs during the changing between forums.
Nice job!!! After all, our purpose here is to offer support and info. And if you've made that goal more user friendly than you have been successful.

I agree, alot of the animated graphics are distracting.
They are nice once in a while but over and over becomes annoying.
but over all a big improvment.

Well, here's an idea. Rich, why don't you start a new thread. The Welcome Thread. Invite newbies to post their first time there and you can great them. Bump it up daily and voila, you have your official greetings sight. You can still determine newbies by their join date and by looking up their posts. So you see there is more than one way to skin a cat! (Who the heck made up that expression?)
