Dan Aykroyd doing the Bass-O-Matic!
Spokesman: How many times has this happened to you? You have a bass, and you're trying to find an exciting new way to prepare it for the dinner table. You could scale the bass, remove the bass' tail, head and bones, and serve the fish as you would any other fish dinner. But why bother, now that you can use Rovco's amazing new kitchen tool, the Super Bass-o-Matic '76. Yes, fish-eaters, the days of troublesome scaling, cutting and gutting are over, because Super Bass-o-Matic '76 is the tool that lets you use the bass with no fish waste, and without scaling, cutting or gutting.
Here's how it works: Catch a bass, remove the hook, and drop the bass - that's the whole bass - into the Super Bass-o-Matic '76. [ drops the bass into the blender ] Now, adjust the control dial so that the bass is blended just the way you like it. [ turns blender on and grinds it to a pulp ] Yes, it's that simple!
Bass-Drinker: [ drinks a glassful of bass ] Wow, that's terrific bass!
Spokesman: We've got fish here, fast and easy and ready to pour, mmm-mmm! Super Bass-o-Matic '76 comes with ten interchangeable rotors, a nine-month guarantee, and a booklet: 1,001 Ways to Harness Bass. Super Bass-o-Matic '76 works great on sunfish, perch, sole, and other small aquatic creatures. [ blends one of each ]
Super Bass-o-Matic '76 - it's clean, simple, and after five or ten fish, it gets to be quite a rush! Super Bass-o-Matic '76 - you'll never have to scale, cut or gut again!
Watching Laraine Newman drink the pureed bass, the audience going "ewwwww!" LOL

Another of my favorites:
Jingle: "This world's a-changing faster than a teardrop turns to laughter
But some things never change, and they're the things that really matter.
Like weather vanes and country lanes, where crickets chirp at night
And breakfast in the early morning starts your day off right."
[ cut to interior farmhouse kitchen table, breakfast time ]
Farmwife: Out here on the farm, breakfast is our most important meal. That's why we start each day the natural way. With a big brimming bowl.. of Quarry. [ shows product ]
[ family members pour the rocks from the box into their bowls ]
Farmwife: Quarry contains no preservatives, no additives, no artificial flavoring. And it's made without the use of pesticides or inorganic fertilizer. Because Quarry isn't grown; it's mined. It's the only cereal that's pure 100% rocks and pebbles, for a hearty old-fashioned flavor the whole family will enjoy.
[ flash cuts of family "chewing" on the rocks in their bowls ]
Son: Great, Mom!
Farmer: This is really good.
Daughter: Delicious!
Farmwife: And it's good for them. Because every serving is chockful of minerals.
Daughter: I like Quarry 'cause it's crunchy.
Farmwife: What?
Daughter: [ louder ] I said, I like Quarry 'cause it's crunchy!
Farmwife: So, if breakfast is important to you, try Quarry.
Jingle: "Like swimmin' holes and brimmin' bowls
of cereal made from stone.
Announcer: Quarry. Better tasting 'cause it's mined.

LOL everyone on you fav SNL skits.
Jody--my favorite line after that bass skit was, "My that's good bass."
I loved anything with Cheri Oteri in it--- especially the Spartan cheerleaders ...they cheered at a swim meet once, and anything with Mike Meyers in it, especially his Scottish skit and his famous line from that skit was , " If it's not Scottish, it's CRAP!! I also loved his "coffe talk" segment...
I also loved Will Farell impersonating Alex Trebek and having Sean Connery(Darrell Hammond) as one of the contestants who misread everything--I'll take famous tit*** for $200.00 Alex. Will Farell replys, "That's famous titles."
Thanks Karen for this thread.

Makes you want to go right out and get a toad, doesn't it?
Dell Stator's Toad Ranch Restaurant
Kenny Slungard ... Dan Aykroyd
1st Diner ... Jane Curtin
2nd Diner ... Buck Henry
Singers ... Gilda Radner, Laraine Newman
Kenny Slungard: [cowboy hat, Western string tie, vest, thick Western accent] In these days of runaway inflation, there aren't many family restaurants left with quality service and good food value. Now, we're talkin' about the kind of restaurant that doesn't sacrifice that Sunday dinner feelin' and still serves the family a tasty meal at home town prices. They just don't seem to be around any more. Except one: Dell Stator's 99 cent Toad Ranch! [sign on the wall reads: Dell Stator's Inc. 99˘ TOAD RANCH RESTAURANT -- also mounted on the wall: rifles, a chart showing the various cuts of toad meat, and a sign reading: ALL THE SALAD YOU CAN EAT - ALL THE SANGRIA YOU CAN DRINK] Hi, I'm Kenny Slungard, Chief Rustler for Dell Stator's 99 cent Toad Ranches, home of the world famous Dell Stator Toad Pit and the Dell Stator Patented Broiling Method where we can guarantee you the best 99 cent toad steak you'll ever eat. How? Because at every Dell Stator 99 cent Toad Ranch we breed our own toads right on the premises. [takes the top off a metal wash basin and holds it up to the camera -- inside are tiny real live toads] Like these plump young toad steers -- right here in one of the Stator Toad Pits, right here! Pick your own, just like I'm doin', right out of the Stator Toad Pit. [grabs a toad] All of Dell Stator's toads are butterfly- and firefly-fed, coated in Dell Stator's special sauce and [holds a couple of toads up to the camera] they are the only toads that are prepared using the Stator Patented Broiling Method in the world famous Stator Toad Pit, to give you and your family the thickest, juiciest toad steaks and roasts you've ever eaten. [walks over to two diners at a nearby table] All right, now. Ha ha! How is everything, folks?!
1st Diner: [mouth full] That's real tasty toad!
2nd Diner: [toad meat hanging out of his mouth] I can't think of a time when we've had better toad!
Kenny Slungard: Yeah! So come on down here to your local Dell Stator's 99 cent Toad Ranch and get in on that big bicentennial toad drive! Ho! Looks like this herd's just about ready here! [returns to the toad pit and lights up a flaming acetylene torch with a wink] Yeah! [starts to torch some toads]
Singers: [enter from either side of the screen, singing]
When you're at home or on the road
And you've got to stop when you crave that toad
Dell Stator's, Dell Stator's
Dell Stator's Family Toad Ranch!
Kenny Slungard: Yeah! And, you know, I'm the kind that LOVES to eat 'em raw! [dangles a wriggling toad over his mouth to the disgust of the audience]
