Collect Questions

My Dearest Ginger,
I realize it has been some time since I last wrote to inform you that I am attempting to make my way home to you. I had sincerely hoped that I may arrive in time to celebrate your birthday (and the anniversary of my disappearance! :eek: ) with you. My sincerest apologies that I was not able to get there in time for the festivities.
Rest assured that I am still trying to get to you, my dearest, but I fear I have become a bit confused and sidetracked by this system of airplane travel, and shall be somewhat delayed. I do believe I am getting closer, as I flew over a place called San Francisco, but alas, I was not able to disembark at that point.
My travel plan seems to have taken me somewhat off course to a beautiful land known as Hawaii. I decided to make the best of my detour, and one of the flight attendants was kind enough to accompany me on a bit of sightseeing while there. I have enjoyed it immensely, and thought I would share a few snapshots with you until I can rejoin you. I hope that you enjoy them, and please know I remain determined to be reunited with you very soon.


I have been made quite comfortable, as you can see, and am finding this mode of transportation rather enjoyable.


My new friends are ensuring that I rest properly, and are most attentive to my comfort.





I enjoyed a very pleasant little rest.


I awoke rather hungry, and was promptly provided with a lovely meal.


I passed the time enjoying some snacks.


....as well as some lovely wine!


...and upon landing, I was greeted with the lovely custom of having a wreath of flowers known as a lei placed around my neck.


I believe this is my good side:


I was enjoying myself so immensely, the local people invited me to participate in a traditional feast called a luau. They were such a friendly lot, they even allowed me to lead the parade!


The weather was so lovely, I decided to attempt a favorite local pastime of surfing. I daresay I did quite well for a beginner, but then I am an amphibian after all.


But, alas, the fun must come to an end, so that I may continue on my way home to you, dear Ginger, so I returned to the airport to continue my journey. I was a bit warm after so much unaccustomed activity though.


...then passed the time while waiting for my flight with a bit of tomfoolery with the crew.

Ahhhh......I see my flight is ready for boarding.


Well, ta-ta for now. My new friend has come to whisk me away. I hope I'm now heading in the right direction, and shall see you soon, dear Ginger.

Well, once again I am truly jealous of your travels. I have never been to Hawaiii. I had a great birthday with everything considered with a great party at the clubhouse. I will take your new pics to coffee tomorrow so everyone can enjoy your fun. Doesn't seem like a year since you were abducted but at last it has been. Your clone is getting nervous with rumors of your return as well he should. But your place will forever be in the house now since I fear you might get the urge to travel again. Hearing from you always makes me smile. We have some wonderful friends here that add much to our lives. Have a safe trip home and QUIT flirting with the ladies.
