Question:
I've been hearing about blogs a lot lately, even my boss says he reads blogs more than novels these days... i have no idea where to begin with a blog!? :eek:
Ok someone help me get into the loop - what is a good resource? And does anyone have their own personal one they'd be willing to post a link to here?
We recently bought a treadmill and my goal is to run a 5k race (likely NEXT year) -- so i considered starting a blog about my training.... but i dunno..
So any bloggers? Love to hear from ya!
I've never started a blog myself although I always wanted to. The problem is I tend to ramble and things get incoherent rather fast and the downward spiral to non-sensical remarks and run-on sentences begins from there. One I'll start one. I think a popular place for "blogging" is www.livejournal.com. It's not the most professional, but I understand it's user friendly and good starting point.

but it helps to keep in touch with my friends that've gone of to school and such
and its fun for picture sharing :D
ive been blogging since.. wow, i was 18 or so. theres a few really popular sites out there. Some make it easy so you dont have to do anything to set yours up and others let you have the freedom to design your page as you wish. i usually keep my entries private, i use it as a way to get my anger and fustrations out. but i have a few public postings. peopel are free to comment on them, but i dont take it so seriously ;)

There's also eBlogger and a whole host of others. And sometimes, depending on your host (if you have your own website) they will sometimes provide setups for blogs.
