richard
Rich,,,call me the laundry expert!
Look at labels on clothes-----look at the detergent you are using. Some detergents are for cold water.
I use Tide Free
CloroxII,,,safe for colors
Downey,
but you can use whatever you have.
The amount to use is on the box or bottle.
Look at the settings on your washer and dryer.
You probably have a setting for small, medium or large loads. This will help you decide how much detergent to use.
When your clothes are dry, take them out of the dryer right away and hang them on hangers. They won't get as wrinkled that way.
To write a check,,,,,an example,,,,,
For $122.40
you would write
one hundred twenty two dollars and 40/100
Hope this helps.
Hi Rich,
I'll try to help with some of the questions as best as I can.
1) To do the laundry you can do white clothes on high, if they are not cotten and can shrink, then do them on a medium setting.
As for colored clothes. use a medium setting, unles the clothes say on the label to wash in cold water only.
As for jeans and such, it's sometimes best to use cold or medium water so they don't shrink.
As to drying them. the setting I like to use best is permanent press, if that's on your dryer. If not, try medium setting, unless it says on the label to use cool dry, then put in on low.
2) As for the numbers of writing out a chec, I'll list a few and then maybe you can look in the rest, because you'll have the begining letters. Let me know if this helps:
1 - one
2 - two
3- three
4 - four
5 - five
6 - six
7 - seven
8 - eight
9 - nine
10 - ten
11 - eleven
12 - twelve
13 - thirteen
14 - fourteen
15 - fifteen
16 - sixteen
17 - seventeen
18 - eighteen
19 - nineteen
20 - twenty
21 - twenty-one
22-twenty-two
etc.
then for the rest you can do the same as the twentys only using the following for the begining of each
30- thirty
40-forty
50-fifty
60-sixty
70- seventy
80 - eighty
90 - ninty
100 - one hundred
101- one hundred and one
102 -one hundred and two
etc.
If you have to add cents to it it would be
$101.26--One hundred and one dollars and twenty-six cents
Does this seem to help?
One thing you should also do is put a capital letter at the beginning of each number
Hope this helps,
Sandy

Never be ashamed or afraid to ask us a ?. I had to make up an index card with all the numbers spelled out for my bf. Without it he couldn't spell most of them. There are lots of people that can't spell well. You are not the only one. You actually spell pretty good. If you run across anything else you need help with just ask. We'll help you.
