ICE your cell phones
Question:

in our local paper today there is a artical that is apparently going on nation wide ...i will just re-type what it says....
ICE your cell phones now!
Paramedics will turn to a victoms cell phone for clues to that persons idenity. You can make their jobs much easier with a simple idea they are trying to get everyone to adopt:ICE
ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. If you add an entry in the contact list in your cell phone under ICE, with the name and phone number of the person you want contacted In Case of Emergency, you can save them alot of time and have your loved ones contacted quickly.
It only takes a few moments of your time to do. Paramedics know what ICE means and they look for it immediataly.

we haven't heard about this yet officially at our PD, however, it does sound like a great idea.
Cell phones and new communication have changed the landscape of law enforcement for the better. It has saved a number of lives no doubt.
