Question:
Last night I took part in a 5km race for life in aid of Cancer research - I raced in memory of my mums friend who was like an aunt to me.
Back in March/April I never would have been able to contemplate doing anything for anyone else as there was so much I couldnt even do for myself but last night I joined with 8000 other women and made a stand for people who are far worse off than myself. Many of us ran with the words 'I run in memory of.....' on our backs and the many names I saw brought tears to my eyes - however none were more moving than one little 8 year old girl who had one word only - Daddy!
Makes you think doesnt it?

Hi Stacey,
Good for you. When ever you can do your part to better the human condition we are all the better for it. Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis may be the binding element that brings us together here and helps us bond as a quai-family but we are so much than the disease that binds us, and psoriasis dosen't define us has human beings.
Weather we are running to raise money for cancer research or any other malidy or making sure a elderly neighbor is ok we are effected by more than our P in our lives. There is no exclusive on the needs of mankind and we are only inhibited by the lack of spirit and willingness to be involve. We can make a differnece!
GOOD FOR YOU AND ALL THE OTHERS WHO GO BEYOND THE DAILY GRIND TO HELP YOUR FELLOW MAN OR WOMAN to COPE AND SURVIVE WITH WHATEVER LIFE THROWS AT THEM. WEATHER THEY ARE A FAMILY MEMBER, A FRIEND, NEIGHBOR OR EVEN MORE HONARABLE A TOTAL STRANGER. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
