Question:
Let's all send our heartiest congrats to our very own Cat (seedoubleyou). She has worked very hard to accomplish some very honorable goals. She received her acceptance letter into the RN program!!!! I know that she is going to be a very special nurse. She is intelligent, honorable & compassionate. And I'm so lucky to have her as a friend, even if it is long distance.
I'm so proud of you. And I'm so happy for you. This honor is so well deserved.

My sister and one of our cousins are both nurses. So are a lot of my friends. Some very special nurses helped my dad get through some very rough times over the last few years.
It takes a very special and compassionate person to be a good nurse. I know that you've got what it takes to join those who've come before you. We'll raise a glass in your honor when we meet at the Conference in Boston.

Don't know if this will be understood, but I've had some really rotten luck the past few years, health-wise ... sometimes it just seems "safer" not to get your hopes up anymore because it hurts so much to have 'em come crashing down, time & time again. Really, really worked hard for this, doing alot of "one-step-forward-two-steps-back" in the process ... getting that letter yesterday meant more than I can say. Sincerest thanks for celebrating it with me -- you guys are the best!! :)
