Hi maurizio,
The "icon" aka "avatar" can mean whatever you want it to mean. It is a way of personalizing "you" and "me" on these boards. Some like yourself have chosen not to use an avatar. Others have used the same avatar for very long periods of time. Still others change their avatar frequently.
I use the avatar as a way of sending a subtle message of how I feel.
As always, the avatar should not be offensive (although in this day and age of political correctness I am not so certain that this is always possible) to others that may post here.

it is what i thinked,this is because i asked the question in a soft way,because i think the icon ,the avatar is more indiacating about our feelings than the
nickname or mottoes.
may be it is also a dear rembership or other thing that belongs to our life.

a dear remembership...i like the way you put that...that is why i put the hummingbirds up with my name...my dearest friend in the world would always come over for coffe and we watched the hummingbirds together...she passed away last year and it is my way of staying connected to her..now i watch the hummers alone...but i will always remember her anytime i see them...a dear remembership....i like that...
Great question and, like Linda, I love the way you phrased the avatar as also being a dear remembership! Mine is of my dog. I use him cause having him makes me happy. He is so sweet. At the end of the day when I get home he comes to the door to greet us with a big SMILE (really!!). Makes me forget any stress I have - it cracks me up! His love is just so unconditional and he is happy all the time. Can't ask for much more than that in a companion!

mine's the 007 thing. i'm obsessed (slightly) with all things James Bond. aaaaaaaaaaaand i got to perform the 007 show with the Cavaliers(along with 264 other high school students). that was definitely a once in a lifetime experience since i'm a girl, and the Cavies are an all male drum corps.
Mine's because I kind of like going incognito. I don't particularly like standing out in a crowd...so it's a cute, funny type of thing.
What about everyone's quote too? I figured mine might not be too obvious to a lot of people but it's a quote from "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day:

but if i had to choose one ,then it will be the Snoopy one....
why ?
because sometimes i had to remember to myself that i have psor....
so remember to myself to do not stress,and do not be angry....etc etc
