Collect Questions

As some of you know two weeks ago I had some very worrying results from the gynea and have had to have more tests - its been a horrible two week wait and quite honestly I havent wanted to come to the boards as I felt so hopeless. Well I had my appointment on tuesday and the tests came back clear - I burst into tears at first and could hardly speak but now I feel angry that they could put someone through hell for two weeks with their incorrect results. The way they treated me two weeks ago you'd swear I had days to live - dont get me wrong I'm relieved and overjoyed that they are clear but I doubt very much if I'm the only woman who has had to endure this horrible experience and it really makes me angry. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I'm OK and to thank you all for your supportive messages - I really appreciated it. Now I can get back to focusing on P and PA and just fighting that battle.

Hi Stacey, So glad that you are ok...In the States, you can call the Dr.'s office and make them tell you as soon as they find out...I know this as my daughter works for several Drs. Even if you have to bug them about it...It is your right to know, and not have to worry for such a long time...

I agree with Molly ...here in the states you can get your results by calling the docs office....it's your body, you paid for the tests? (here we do..... along with insurance) and its your right to know!
years ago I was going to Mayos for a general check up and had some xrays from a doctor...I called to get them and they didn't want to give them to me....I said if you want them then I''ll sell them back to you since they are mine, that I paid for, and they are xrays of my body....they sent them out pronto! :p
