Question:
I saw my gynea yesterday for some results of tests they'd done. It doesnt look good. The docs are concerned and have done more tests. I'm scared. I'm trying not to think of what ifs but when I look at my little girl and the things I might miss it breaks my heart. Two weeks seems like the longest time.
Not knowing is the worst thing. If I knew what I was dealing with it would be easier to stay strong and fight but the docs were very cagey and refused to tell me one way or the other. I know this seems very negative but I'm still in shock as this was just a routine checkup and I'm only 31.

Stacy, Try not to over worry- Test results can be strange for many reasons- wait til they get the new results then ask lots of questions- get all the info you can. I hope it works out well. We are here if you need us
Take a deep breath. I've had test results that throw a red flag, only to be further tested and had things come out okay ( mind you I've also had further testing that turns out badly). Don't turn your next 2 weeks into a terrible waiting game of "oh, God, what if?". Whatever your test results return, there is nothing you can do in these next 2 weeks.
Stacey,
I'm so sorry you are gong thru this. I know it is so difficult. My prayer is that it is like what ali and myself have experienced and that is the negative results turn out to be "nothing". The key is getting something early so even if there is something there is a lot they can do these days to help.
If your worry becomes unbearable I suggest you call your doctor directly and tell him/her you are beside yourself in concern and please give you more information on what's going on.
xoxo
Denise

Stacey,
I will be thinking of you and know you will be glad when Tuesday arrives. So sorry you've been having such a hard time waiting and worrying. Really maybe no news was good news. If it was something really serious, maybe they would have called you in earlier. I know I've had the waiting before and it's no fun. Please keep us posted and know you are in our thought.
Sandy
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
