Question:
So just how widespread is psoriasis in our country and or world for that matter. Is it all a big estimate? Is it getting worse, does the genetic defect increase over time? I know I have but does the government know of everyone that has it? Oh, and the missed dx or no dx. I have it severe so I have a derm but how many are out there just living with it?
Mike P is on the warpath again, and good for him! Here's your chance to get you vote counted again, this time with the CDC. Seems to me that the CDC is mostly concerned about diseases that kill you, however, don't some of us feel that we have "lost some of our life" due to psoriasis? No doubt for me that I have lost some of the "quality of life". Hey, I've made a lot of friends here but I'd be a heck of a lot happier if Mitch and I were on the opposite side of the political fence and at each others throats, both free of P and PA. It's nice to have a P community, but for real, I wish that none of you were here, going about your normal lives without this dreaded skin disease. It's not that I don't like you it's just that I hate what this disease does that much more.

I typically post the news report here but I'll let you get it yourself. You can go to yahoo, google, or any other significant search engine, click the news heading, and search for "psoriasis". The story should be right up near the top. It's a good story and even has a quote from someone that posts on these boards. (NOT ME)(I'M INFAMOUS ENOUGH) Feel free to comment on the quote if you want. Thats all for me.
