1 Attachment(s) Hey everyone....I'm here and among the living. Check out what arrived yesterday. Yes it's the official psoriasis awareness pin. For any of the newbies, the pins were the brainchild of a group of us, the pins are not affliiated with the NPF. We itchers and scratchers finally have our own awareness pin. The pin is about an inch in height, it has 2 colors, a blue and light orange. I have about 90 of them in my grubby little hands. Sorry the pics are really bad... I tried on a white background, then the green background, even with the flash off I'm still getting a reflection. I'll be updating my website hopefully within the next 24 hours... all the information will be on there. I'll update this when I have my website updated.
OK now I'm going over to the whiners board where I belong.....

I took some pix of the pins after Pat sent me my batch.....please order from her if you want ....she has the most...however later on down the line you can also order from me.....hopefully we will be getting more as the orders come in....I put a border around mine simply for a finished look....also took picture with a black velvet background ....hoping it might cut some glare........I posted one here....others will be on the web site below my name

My daughter wore her pin to school and one of her students asked her what the pin meant...She said it was for psoriasis awareness...Well, the student said she had it and another student spoke up and said that they had P too...So, I guess wearing the pin does help...I think it makes people feel less alone and also a good way to explain what P and Pa etc is all about...

Molly....nice story......I never get out of this house it seems....but the other day I went shopping for some goatmilk lotion and wore my pin!.....my DH said when I got back...."well did anyone ask about your pin?" I had to say no! darn it!!! and it showed up really well against a gray tee shirt......
So Pat tell us....how many have ordered the PIN? I sure want you to get back the money you invested....I'll order more if you want!

I ordered a few off Ebay from the Michigan P support group. They are really nice, good quality pins too! Thank you everyone who helped with making them, I am proud to wear mine!


I think Pat got rid of all hers...so you might have to order from Brad...(Misales)
Michigan group has taken over the sales on Ebay for their money making projects....

I think when I bought them a few weeks ago, according to the ebay ad, there were only like 5 left, and I bought 3. Maybe he is running out too? Or maybe he only listed so many for that auction. Who knows!

We are selling them for $3.00 ea and by the time you pay ebay, the post office, and paypal sometimes we make about .02 cents, however, we are making them available to the world through ebay and thats what counts. The little we make on them will go towards the book project. We bought the rest of Pats stock and will order more if necessary.
A lot of people have purchased them through the boards, ebay just makes it nice and convenient. Some have purchased them just through an ebay search too, so it's definately not been a bad thing.
If you need pins for christmas just let us know and we can set you up.
Just remember, Sally and Pat get the credit, we're just making them available to everyone.
