Ok all you environmentalist types, I really need an explanation on this one now....
Radio just advised a winter storm warning for lower Michgan, 4-8 inches possible and expected overnight and through the weekend.
It's supposed to be April showers...not April snow showers.
Is summer over already?

i was wondering the same thing. i had sleet hitting my window on the way home from work. it was like 85 yesterday and like 50 some thing today. darn it. were did summer go. :(

Weird weather definitely. But I remember one year when I was still living in Chicago, having snow the beginning of JUNE!! And that's going back at least 15-20 years.
Wow, I just posted that message and it just started raining. I love the smell of rain right after someone mowed the grass. Two neighbors just finished mowing. The rain washed all the dust and dirt off the trees and flowers. Everything will sparkle in the AM.
Typical Michigan..........storm cancelled, light accumulations only. I'm certain it will still be cold however.
We need some environmentalists on this so we can get some sun for our P up here. Thank God I have a home light box, did 4 mins today.

I think the storm is coming this way, to upstate NY. Maybe just snow flurries? It's cold and rainy here today, with forecasting it to be snowy tonight and tomorrow and cold, I'll have to get in my tanning bed to see some sun here. Take care,

Brad! LOL it's so funny you started this thread... I got up this morning to head to the gym (in shorts and a t-shirt as the weather's been great all week) and I step outside to just about freeze! I got in the car and as I was driving, saw a few snow flurries in the air...my first thought was that I better bring your old global cooling thread back to the top and ask what the heck happened?! :p flip-flops and snow don't mix!
