i want to say here Ciao (hello) to all good people i met in this forum.
this is my last post.
i left this forum becuase i disagree with polemics & quarrels to often started
There is not a filter to enter this forum,and my opinion is that not all the people adding post here truly has psoriaisis !
about the good people here,i do not list their names,i do not forgive myself
if i miss to list someone.I want to thank this people ,i discovered that between good people fronteer does not exist.
I learned here a lot about the effectiveness of some cure and medicines
I learned that this desease has the same impact everywhere.
I learned my reaction to this desease are not unique
I learned that i'm not alone.
i wish for all of you a better future,i wish that the hope of cure will never
left you.

maurizio ! I can not believe this....I was so happy we had you on the boards! you have added so much ...I enjoyed our "tour" of Italy and around the USA! Large families have their disagreements and yes even their
"black sheep" but we learn to live with them....sometimes!
If you do decide not to return, many of us will be sad, but if you go then I wish you happiness and getting free of P......(try the slippery elm ;) )

Your struggle with this disease is familiar to all of us here. While some topics cause disagreements; others bring us closer together as friends and chosen family.
So please don't leave forever, just take a break, like we all do occassionally. Then come back and bring us news of you life and battle.

I agree with all the above posts, but this one says it the way I feel...I feel so bad that you are leaving us...Take the above advice and use your ignore option...It has helped me tremendously...I don't even want to know what some people have to say...Boy, and I was going to post some more pictures of New England for you to see...
Also, a lot of us have felt the same way, we come here for support and fun, and not bickering...
If you stay we will be so happy!!!

You Know maurizio, I think I know how you're feeling. But you know too, you could stay out of the conversations forum. I know this is where a lot of people look and get discouraged at all the stuff that gets said here.
Not that discussion with disagreement is a bad thing. But there's been some pretty hateful stuff said here too. But you need to remember too, I believe this is where a lot of people come to blow off steam as it were. Sometimes it just goes too far.
I really think you should reconsider.

But, my membership expires soon, and after months of trying to stay away, to avoid the negative, then coming back to give all of this another try... I have decided that even though there are some people here that I care about, and they need my support just as much as I need theirs, I can't stay.

There is nothing new under the sun. People in this forum are just another cross-section of people. This message board is just like many others:
-People go off on tangents
-People sound harsh
-People interpret harsh when the writer did not intend that
-People lie
-People tell the truth
-People are insincere
-People are sincere
-People think you should do everything they do
-People don't think there experience is worth sharing
In short his site is just another mixed bag of human behavior. Could it ever be anything else?
You list all the good benefits you gained from this site. Isn't that enough? Should you deny yourself future benefits because some people are jerks, or because some nice people don't communicate as well as we'd like.
Of course, you should do as you please. But for me, it will take many more jerks before there is any distraction from the wonderful benefits I've gained. If I haven't said Thank You to this community before, I offer that Thanks now.

I had been reading some of your posts and have found them very interesting, i would like you to both stay, leaving is a choice that everyone has but the gains do out weigh the jerks.....I think every has a story or an experienc to tell we all live all over the world, and different words views can mean different things the different people.If we were all the same that would be sooooo boring, and though it can be hard to see other peeps views, its that differance , that can add to the overall experience [good and bad]of this and any other site on the net,

There have been times when I felt alot of warmth and gratitude for this site, and all the pertinent information and support I have found here.I meant to post in that nature, perhaps I should have. Some of the people here are angels; and I have been so blessed to have met them. And then there are people on here; I'm not naming names, but they seem to want to contradict just for the sake of contradicting. Perhaps I am too optimistic for this site, I constantly feel I am defending my optimistic postition. Rather than feeling uplifted when I come here, I feel like I have to defend my stance of thinking positively. It seems like it is more popular to elicit sympathy than to offer something potentially helpful. I think I need to find something else to to on breaks and during "down time". I think I am giving this disease, too much focus and I want it out of my life. I am tired of talking about it.I have said everything I need to say about how I improved my condition, it is there to be taken or left.
