That is so true...my brother is 8 years older than me, and my sister 6.5 years older... if I hadn't had my cousin Joey (who's about 6 mos younger than I am and more like my twin brother than my cousin), my childhood wouldn't have been so great :)

I have one older brother, but have a (female) cousin who is 18 months younger than I. We were raised like sisters, and maintain that relationship to this day.

Growing up, my cousin Gloria was very close to my age (within a year or so) and my mother always said that we got along like "two peas in the pot."
Thank you everybody! I think they're pretty darn cute myself. I'm glad they have each other too. My daughter has two big brothers 7 and 9 and my other niece is 7 as well. Her other cousins are 13, 16, 16 and 20. So yes my oops was well timed LOL!
My niece is real sweet, quiet and girly. My daughter is a loud tomboy who loves attention and thinks her cousin is her own personal toy. It should be interesting. I just picture them older with my daughter practicing cheerleading while my niece sits quietly reading a book.
Then again, things change.

They are so cute. Theyu remind me of my own sister named Nancy and myself when we were growing up. We Are only 15 months apart in age and were so close to each other growing up and now. My daughter is an only child and she had a cousin she was really close to. I was glad. Thanks for posting the pictures.
